This are the events that will be done in celebrating the 100 years of SLU.
SLU has experienced so much form the day it was founded. We should be one in celebrating its 100 years and pray that there will be more years to come and SLU would be one of the most famous schools in the Philippines.
SLU today is one of the famous schools now in northen luzon. It is called the light of the north. The education that SLU is giving us is very advanced compared to the other schools. There is no doubt that SLU can be one of the most famous schools in the Philippines.
I disagree with this idea, because the students will suffer more if they will add grade 7 in elementary and 5th year in high school. Their will be no difference in the way the students think (a little maybe). But the problem is, how about the poor ones? or the people who can't afford to go to school? I think that the government is just using this idea to have more money. They are making the poor, poorer. And I think the student's will be more lazy. Especially to the grade six and 4th year students, because instead of graduating they still have to wait for another year. How about those who are weak in academics?they will suffer again another school year, and how about this time they won't excel anymore? they will just waste all the sufferings they have done. And I also think that their will be no difference in other academics they are still the same. The teachers kept repeating the lessons they are teaching and I know the students are tired of the lessons in the different subjects that that we already took since grade 1,for example, English,Filipino, and phem. And I know, especially for the grade six and 4th year students are already tired of seeing their classmates or schoolmates faces(even teachers). :D
